Storm Warning

The caravan park caretakers came and told all campers a severe storm was approaching. We were already packed up but shut our door and windows, and put the step under the van. The radar image shows the storm moving south, just nudging Ilfracombe which is close to the letter "c" in Longreach. Ilfracombe doesn't have a BOM weather station. More overnight rain and storms are predicted.

The caravan park is nearly full today with many travellers like us heading to the Winton Out West music festival next week. The pub has been busy all day and we had to queue for fuel at Longreach near this lovely railway station.

Last night Tilly settled in the bathroom sink. This afternoon she chose my hat. There are now lots of big dogs around so we will have to be super vigilant she doesn't sneak out, and check before transferring her to and from the car. She happily came for the drive to Longreach today.
