Historic Barcaldine

I spent a couple of hours riding around on my scooter looking at Barcaldine's historic buildings. My favourite is the old Masonic lodge which has a timber facade made to look like brickwork.

The Court House and Radio Theatre are also attractive buildings. The exterior of the theatre is made from sheet metal imprinted to look like bricks. Unfortunately several panels are falling off the building.

There are several good murals around town. This one outside the library is clever.

Back at camp it was time to wash Blue and give him a trim. He behaved well during the wash cycle but got tetchy when I got the clippers out, so we had to have several rest breaks.

He and Tilly had a session of rough and tumble in the caravan. Tilly lept over a pillow to grab Blue with four paws and her mouth. It looks serious but was just a boisterous game.
