Barcaldine Domestic Day

This morning we had breakfast at the Ridgee Didge Cafe which is run by Inigai people from the dessert uplands country. Artworks and craft items are also on sale at the cafe.

Cleaning the inside of the Bushtracker was our first job, then removing dozens of grasshoppers from the front of the Toyota. We waited till midday to do the shopping because a delivery of fresh milk and vegetables was expected this morning. I had ordered sourdough loaves from the Satisfaction Bakery and enjoyed some of this lovely bread for lunch. In the afternoon four of us headed to the pool.

I put Bluey's boots on this afternoon to keep him practised in wearing them for times when the road is very hot, or when there are prickles. He initially resisted but when all four were on he ran around the park quite happily in them.
