Very Cold and Wet

It rained all night and was still raining this morning when I had to take Blue outside. Today the temperature maxed out at 10° and BOM reported the temperature has felt 5° colder throughout this wet and cold weather.

Last night I made Tilly a jumper from the largest pair of motorbike socks I could find in Aldi. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials advising how to do this. Tilly is too big around her girth for her sock jumper to be comfortable.

Late morning we dropped our friends at the hairdresser then we managed to get an undercover park at the co-op shopping centre. We had coffee and a very tasty toastie from a cafe. In Cheap as Chips I found a knitted jumper that fits both Tilly and Blue, but Tilly won't move with it on. I will need to take her outside on a cold dry day to encourage her to walk wearing the jumper. She has insisted I take her outside a couple of times today, but she shivered in the cold. Hugo was out walking at the same time and Tilly poked him with her nose. Minor birds swooped her and she lept a metre in the air trying to get them.

There are several groups with kids camped under wet canvas. They have been having a ball playing in the heated swimming pool. Getting out would be a bit chilly but there are hot showers near the pool, with parents and grandparents available to help keep them warm.

We all had dinner at fermentAsian in Tanunda, a 10 minute drive from our caravan park. Anita and I had eaten here before a day it was just as good as the first time. Our friends really enjoyed the food and they chose an excellent wine. We will have to try to visit the Laughing Jack winery that had made the delicious drop.
