Maggie Beer's Farm

We had interrupted sleep due to strong blustery winds buffeting the Bushtracker. After doing some washing and putting it through the dryer, we all headed to Maggie Beer's Farm to have lunch at the cafe. The menu is limited due to Covid 19, but we enjoyed cheese platters and coffees.

I suggested we walk around Tanunda but after we all got out of the car, there was another cold shower. I took a couple of photos while the others retreated to the car.

Instead of walking around we drove to the nearby Langmeil Winery. We could not sit inside as this would have exceeded the number of people allowed under the Covid rules, but after other people left we were able to go into the tasting room - including Blue. I spent some time in the lovely gardens and historic buildings, especially the smithy.

Back at camp I connected the caravan, topped up our potable water, and removed hoses. The blustery showers continued and it felt like the temperature was a lot lower than that recorded - at 4pm the temperature was 10.7°C but the apparent temperature was 4.3°C. Fortunately I travel with lots of warm clothes and wet weather gear.
