Hot Day in Port Augusta

The forecast top was 37° and it reached 35°. For most of the day it felt cooler because a breeze was blowing. Tomorrow's top is predicted to be only 20° with lots of rain.

I took Blue for a frolic on the beach and paddle in the water near the wharf. A bath was scheduled so getting extra grotty was not an issue. I used the outside shower on our van with Blue up on a table. He then had his feet and face trimmed.

There is a black 9 month old toy poodle in the park who is smaller than Blue. They may have a play date tomorrow in our outside crate. It is hard to find places where small dogs can run off leash. At least Blue gets a workout playing with Tilly.

We all had coffee at Archers cafe then drove to the water tower which is a great viewing platform. I have been up there before but wasn't keen to climb up in the strong winds. The hill afforded some views of the Gulf.

This is the fence around the caravan park. Obviously the perceived threat is not just freeloaders coming in to use the facilities without paying. The facilities here are modern and well kept. The ablution blocks even have air coolers keeping them cool.

I am trying to get Bluey and Tilly used to having their teeth cleaned. Blue quickly loses interest but Tilly enjoys playing with the toothbrush.
