Another Busy Day

Blue is teething as some of his smaller front teeth are missing. I have been out for dinner for the past two nights and when I get home he is beside himself. I have to make sure I have a firm grip on him when taking him downstairs - I can't let him go down by himself when he is so excited as he might fall.

I have been patching and painting, searching for a fence contractor to repair our retaining wall, cleaning the outdoor tiles before the forecast east coast low arrives, and generally keeping busy with odd jobs. I finally spoke to technical support about the correct glue to use to reattach the "fur" around our caravan flyscreens, so that led to another trip to Bunnings. While there I bought two large pots of pansies which I planted in larger pots either side of our garden seat.

One lift installer thinks he can fit a lift in our existing dumb waiter shaft. He will come to inspect the shaft next week.

Anita is having respite care at the Star Casino. She stayed in the hotel and won a small jackpot so is happy. We had dinner last night at the casino's Japanese restaurant, and tonight we were joined by some friends at the Sovereign restaurant.

I captured the sunrise photo this morning through the verandah flyscreen. We have friends living in the apartment block in the middle of the photo. The tall buildings are all on the other side of the Nerang River.
