Day For Appointments

My first appointment was at the vet taking Blue for another vaccination. After dropping him back at home with Anita, I drove to Brisbane for a physio appointment. I was lucky with the traffic both ways, but still had to contend with idiot drivers. One young woman crossed into my lane leaving no more than three metres between our vehicles travelling at 100kph. Another idiot male driver tailgated me until I slowly dropped my speed and he changed lanes and passed me.

After a couple of hours with my physiotherapist I drove to Spring Hill to see my friend and her poorly poodle Leo. He had a second operation on his back leg that had popped out of the hip socket, but was in pain so spent four nights at the specialist clinic on pain relief. He walked to the gate to greet me but that was a huge effort.

My friend provided me with a cup of tea and lovely cheese sandwiches. We debated the Black Lives Matter protests and discussed TV shows not to miss. I was sent home with a selection of videos to watch.

Blue and Tilly met me at the door. I tried to take him for a walk but he heard a dog bark and sat down and would not move. Anita cooked us steaks for dinner then we watched a show about the Canadian railway we had  booked to travel on. If we do ever get to do that trip we know to include stops at several towns. Tilly played in the tunnel but I think Blue is now too big to get in, or he might get stuck.
