Progress in the Garage

I went straight to the garage this morning to rearrange the shelving and deal with the cupboard and timber we brought back from the stables yesterday. The cupboard and doors were removed from our house when the kitchen was replaced. After cleaning I secured the cupboard to the wall then filled it with paints and other bits and pieces.

The old Ikea shelving has been relocated to the side wall of the garage to make room for the heavy duty shelving that will be used to store timber. Everything was dusted and cleaned before being reshelved.

Our garage is air conditioned so I can work there when it is hot or humid. We only park a vehicle there when we go away, and that is unlikely in the foreseeable future! I have these paintings of Max and Coco on the wall. A woman was looking to branch out into pet portraits and I was happy to pay her for these paintings.

We had a break this afternoon and enjoyed our heated pool - I forgot to turn off the heater so it was very warm! I watered parts of the garden while outside.

We decided to research the availability of Burmese kittens around the Gold Coast and found a female lilac colour who will be available to come home to us at the end of the month. Hopefully we will have a puppy to join her about then.
