More Painting and a Visiting Feline
Anita volunteered to help with the painting by doing the roller work while I did the cutting in with the brush. Unfortunately she got carried away and started painting the wall that I had so carefully painted yesterday, but used the wrong colour! She had no excuse as her cataracts were removed in January.
The other problem we had to deal with was mass gatherings of ants on the walls - they clearly have not heard of social distancing.
Earlier we had a lovely surprise when our friend brought her kitten for a visit on the way home from the drive-through vet for an injection. This Bengal kitten is very friendly and ever so cute.
I spent time scanning more of my father's photographs before compiling a couple of albums for him that I can put in the post. It was his 70th wedding anniversary today and I was surprised that he had remembered that it was his anniversary. He didn't know how long ago he was married or how old he is, but he clearly remembers 8 April. Coincidentally the sale of his home settled at noon today so I will have to go to his bank to pay the Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) to the aged care provider and deal with Centrelink. It is also the anniversary of the death of one of his grandsons but he didn't need to be reminded about that sad event.
