Lazy Day

After our walk this morning we picked up coffees and croissants from our local cafe and had a leisurely read of the papers. Anita spent some time considering how to pack the caravan with its reconfigured kitchen, while I filed the accumulated paperwork associated with managing my father's affairs. This afternoon I went to the Australia Fair shopping centre. The carpark was empty until I drove up to the best level for Coles. I had to have prescriptions filled but my efforts to track down jigsaws for my father were futile. Kmart had shelves full of Lego but I don't think he would enjoy those.

It rained today after we had our windows cleaned yesterday, topped up the pool and watered the garden. I caught up with a couple of friends by phone and played scrabble with Anita. There was an interesting sunset reflected by the high rise buildings of Surfers Paradise.
