Caravan Toilet Cassette Cleaning
Today I cleaned the two windows beside the range hood in the kitchen. These were awkward to reach over the bench. I was either on my knees or squatting on the bench. They are also narrow so it was hard to clean the edges. At least we can say that all the windows in the lounge, kitchen and dining area have now been cleaned.
I moved onto a worse job - cleaning the inside of the caravan toilet cassette. I left the cassette soaking with cleaner for several days, rotating it so that each surface was subjected to the chemical process. This still left me with the job of removing the internal working parts and clean each piece individually. I do this once a year and it has paid off as we have not had any problems - touch wood. We carry a spare cassette just in case. I have spared you the "before" photos!
Our gardeners were here this afternoon. They also do the houses either side of us so it was very noisy for a couple of hours. After they had left we hopped in the pool for a bit of at home exercise. My complex knitting project is taking shape, but it requires concentration for two out of every six rows. The other four rows simply involve following the colours. I clearly need longer needles but the only ones available at Spotlight are made from plastic. I only knitted one row on them to realise they are not suitable. I might have to go online to see if I can find longer metal needles.
