Banking, Post Office, Pantry Cleaning
The weather precluded finishing our painting project. I had to go to the bank to transfer funds to pay my father's aged care accommodation deposit, then post some photograph albums to him. I put a lot of scanned photos onto an 8GB USB stick and phoned his care home to make sure someone could help him view them on his TV.
We finished cleaning the pantry but discovered these tiny beetles caught in the traps for pantry moths. Over the past few weeks we have noticed these tiny bugs but they seem to be concentrated in the pantry. After posting a photo on WhatsApp a friend suggested what they might be and I narrowed them down to cigarette beetles, so named because they like to eat tobacco. Apparently some pantry products are a second option. Our next project will be to eliminate the blighters from our house!
I finished knitting a basic scarf. Anita likes it but I hope I can improve both my technique and choice of pattern.
